Today my heart is overflowing with love and deep gratitude.

I'm paying tribute to Amanda Irene and Martha Floss.

These women are the mother's who gave birth to my parents
who share this day,
their birthday though 8 years apart.

I love looking at this picture of Mom and Dad and think they are so good looking.

I was blessed to know Grandma Flossie, Mom's mom. I loved here beautiful blue eyes. She was a hard worker. A very good housekeeper. Grew great gardens, flowers, berries. Faithful church going/server. I remember her as a humble women. I'm sure sister Cindy can add much more as could cousin Skippie.

Here I am with Dad/Papa as we welcomed in a new year in Oregon.
I'm sorry I don't have any pics of mom and me on the computer to share.
Dad's mother, Amanda Irene died when he was an infant. She had a French heritage and I remember seeing just a couple of photos of her and my favorite was the one of her as a young woman on a bicycle.

Thanks to my grandmother's for giving birth and any sacrifice that accompanied that. I hope to bring you joy in your posterity through me and mine.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM AND DAD. I MISS YOU!!!! I LOVE YOU. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE MANY WONDERFUL QUALITIES YOU HAD/HAVE AND I STILL THINK OF AND TRY TO EMULATE. I AM PROUD TO BE A JOHNSON GIRL.

Happy day, msk
