Music, glorious music. Friends, glorious friends. My delightful afternoon of both and words just will not convey the DELIGHT.

I was thrilled to get an invitation to Megan's violin recital but then dashed to realize it will be while I'm out of town.

Her sweet mom, dear friend Becca asked if Megan could rehearse here to prep for the recital.

YES!

You would be amazed at the sound this 9 year old makes. 2 years of lessons and she's a pro. It was sheer joy to listen to her.

And I cannot say enough about Becca accompanying on our piano. Fantastic to say the least. I still cannot stop smiling for the experience.

Not to be outdone, Mitchell who is all of 4 years is taking piano and played the theme from Star Wars and a Halloween song. Simply wonderful.

This is a sad little cell photo from our ward Primary Sacrament meeting practice. Megan also played the violin in this program and it was a duet with her daddy on the clarinet.

Talk about magnifying your talents. This family gets an A+.

Thanks for a most pleasurable and memorable afternoon.

And I know you'll want to check out Becca's blog DAILY GRAPEFRUIT. You'll find her "button" on my side bar so just scroll on down and enjoy.

Off to the grands football game. More fun.
Happy day, msk

How fun and it's so wonderful to see a family pursue talents, especially with music! ;D

You are too kind! Mostly I'm impressed that you know how to transfer a picture from your CELL PHONE onto your blog. Wow. High tech! I can barely answer my phone, let alone blog with it!

Thanks again for letting us steal you away from your day to help us practice. It was really helpful. And I hope you take it as a compliment that Paige stretches out on your couch with her magazine like she's at home. She doesn't feel that comfortable everywhere!!!

We will miss you on Saturday. Hope you have a great time in UT.
