Melon Anyone?

The last several weeks have been a whirlwind of family, wedding, receptions, church functions and Christmas prep. Without my own computer I have not enjoyed blogging...at all. I often don't have a computer to borrow and I have come to realize how much I rely on my computer.

I also am of the mind set that this blog is really just a way to keep in touch with my sisters/sistercousin and a couple of offspring. And the word is - short on writing and long on photos is wanted. Well, the only photos I can get to upload...or is the download???? is from my cell phone. Not the greatest to say the least.

Lest this turns into a nagging, poor me I will just say here's my best attempt.

Today is a DELIGHTFULLY, GRAY, DOWNPOURINGLY, RAINY DAY. As I look out the kitchen window the neighbors glorious ORANGE tangalos hang heavy from their tree and couldn't be prettier.

The crock pot's yummy aroma is filling the kitchen with my dear friend Loa D.'s recipe that I will share at Knight's In The Kitchen and I'm feeling thankful that dinner is taken care of before noon.

And lastly, when it was sunny Friday and Kirby and I were out walking I snapped this picture of my neighbors melons growing in the side yard.

GOTTA LOVE ARIZONA WINTERS.

Always glad to see your pictures and catch up with what you and Kirby are up to. We have gorgeous blue skies and sunshine, but its about 28 degrees with the wind blowing and a wind chill factor. I'm thinking I'd better not complain when it warms up and gets gray and rainy again!!!
Love you and miss your blog....Cin

Oranges, grapefruit, lemons...you might as well have melons growing out on your front yard too there in AZ. :) I miss Arizona winter.
