Safe flight. The wonders of air travel and getting from Phoenix to Portland in 2 hr. 30 min. Love it. Landed to a gorgeous blue sky and green everywhere.

The family gathered last night for Hanna's blessing and we are praying and fasting today. Hayden and I are holding down the fort. The garden is all watered, Hayden has picked peas and raspberries. He has shown me how fast a runner and biker he is. We are making bread and will soon start a pot roast in the dutch oven. He and I may make a trip into Wilsonville for an ice cream cone after lunch. This afternoon we will get into his science kit (bottle) and do some of the experiments.

Hope to put photos up soon.

OK...so I'm a day late, but that is just ME! and I had to say that I loved the artichokes!!! Never knew they dried and bloomed like that. Now I need to head to the store to purchase and see if I have the same luck. Glad you are here in "God's Country" as we call it in the summer. We won't mention what we call it in winter! Loves ya...Skippie

Skippie-I agree it is God's country in the summer. Anxious for our fun to begin on the lake.
