Sugar Bowl Thursday

It was back to Scottsdale today with lunch at our old time favorite the Sugar Bowl. Now Skippie and Garry can have a memory there also. This little spot opened in 1958 and our girls memories go way back. Scottsdale was packed and just finding a parking spot was a real trick.
We went next to the Borgota and fell in love with the store Two Plates Full. Look at this colorful chest of drawers side view. . . please excusse the door handle.
. . .front view.LoVeD the saying on this clever and adorable chest -
"SPEAK YOUR MIND BUT RIDE A FAST HORSE"
Isn't that cute!

Mirrors on a wall.
We next wanted a stroll through Whitfill's Nursery on Glendale and to a flower and plant loving family that is pretty darn awesome. It was a trip worth taking and recommended.

We came home and Cindy fried up delicious talapia filets, Skippie made a gorgeous and yummy salad and I stir fried zucchini, onions and mushrooms then topped with parmasean. We ate outside of course and inspite of the few pesty flies. Maybe this doesn't sound like much of a day to you but we found it to be SuPeR!
