...Lake Billy Chinook that is. And 3 rivers actually do flow into it, the Metolius, Deschutes and Crooked. We went to the end of both the Metolius and the Crooked. Maybe next summer we'll head up the Deschutes. Garry and Skippie have a new pontoon boat with all the bells and whistles. I couldn't believe the power and speed this new one had over the last model. I'm sold on these boats. Hope you enjoy the photos of this fun couple of days. I'm still smiling with memories of the trip but especially the time with sistercousins. I love you gals!!! And I can't neglect thanking Garry who is the one male on our second annual all-girls-trip. You're just great Garry and we're so glad you like that we break out in spontaneous singing throughout the days and nights. Our songs rang from hymns, show tunes, pop and to How Much Is That Doggie In The Window (if you click will you sing along? You have to be almost a senior to know this Patti Page golden oldie).

Following Linny's trend of foot photos, my feet on the floating walkway. I'm sure there is a more accuate name; anyone, anyone? It just came to me...dock.
Garry & Skippie, great cousins, great hosts, great fun! Thanks again!! I'm so excited you'll be spending a couple winter months here in sunny AZ this winter.
Love that they fly the flag from their boat.
Garry and Abbie the-fishing-dog. This photo was taken prior to Abbie getting her doggie life jacket put on her.
I think this is near the the end, or at least as far as we are able to go up the Metolius. When we were at the end of the Crooked we anchored in a gorgeous spot and had lunch by the little rapids. Skippie put a 50's CD in the player and we sang, sunned and munched. We did pack a really good lunch. In fact, we ate so well the entire time and I'll share some of the recipes soon at KITK. This AZ gal didn't get sunburned but my darling sisters did.
Their are a lot of eagles and osprey along this river. It was an aerial masterpiece to watch five young eagles harass a lone seagull that happened into their territory. Nothing savage but kept at that poor gull until it was out of the area.
Next time I'm bringing binoculars.
