Home Again - P.S. I love the Olympics

I'm really not as bummed as I thought I'd be coming back to the desert from the cool, green of Oregon!!! This vacation was actually my warmest in a long time for Oregon. I'll try to get photos on the blog soon but do have some catching up to do here. It was just a fantastic three weeks with family, wedding, reading, fun, challenging morning walks up heart-attack-hill and food. Back on my diet NOW.

Trev and Tessa already paid me a much welcomed and appreciated visit today. Tessa loves the doll with the eyelashes I bought at a garage sale in Jody's neck of the woods. Jody and I had to secure the long, lovely, loose lashes and the super glue made her eyes appear "cloudy" so I'm naming her Helen. Get it? SLK was so kind to bring Kirby along to the airport last night. I was covered with dog hair. He's gotten a big brushing t0day...Kirby not SLK.

My flight was smooth but delayed but that beats all the mishaps of the May trip to PA by a long shot. It was 102* when we landed just before 10 p.m. I'm just reminding myself that we are over the summer hump and boy do I love winters in AZ.

Okay, here's just a few. Picking up after we left Cindy's headed to Three Rivers. We went up over Mt. Hood. Love this place. Some day we'll detour and go up to the lodge and take photos and walk around again.

Cindy pulled the car over so I could take a picture of this beautiful river but we got a bonus of a fisherman too.
