Back In Touch

I've been enjoying myself in Oregon for a week now. Cool and green. Thanks to Sylvia for showing me tonight how to get photos on their computer so I can get back in touch with you. Dori asked prior to my leaving to please post alot of pictures so she'd know what I was doing. Here goes.

First day, July 30th, Ed picked me up from the airport and took me to Jody's work place prior to his appt. at the V.A. hospital. You know that fantastic, custom leather shop Langlitz.

Loved this camping stool.

What a line of jackets!! The smell of leather was so strong and so good.
The next morning, Aug. 1st, we gathered ourselves and "stuff" and headed over to Cindy's for the fun tour of her garden before leaving for Three Rivers/Lake Billy Chinook and Skippie and Dr. Garry's lake house. Ben had to dispatch a freshly caught mole first. Boy do those critters ruin a lawn and garden!

Photos do not do justice to Cindy's beautiful flowers and how she arranges the whole backyard. Lovelies tucked in everywhere. I felt very welcomed!
Cindy keeps water in the bird bath and yes, the birds come and bathe .

Cindy is a master at container gardening even successfully growing zucchini and blueberries in pots.

You know my obsession with hydrangea's!

The drive to Three River's was great and laughter filled. I'll try to post those pictures tomorrow.
