No time to post but D wants me to track our current situation. Dear, darling Kirby had successful surgery yesterday. I am so very grateful to Dr. Greg B. and son Dan S. for their expertise and compassion. But, having said that, this is a really rough go!! I got about 2 hours sleep in 15 minute increments and I'm doing much better than that precious dog. Today is a tad better, he's ventured out twice on 3 wobbly legs. Tomorrow will be great.

Sometimes it really hurts to be an animal lover but that's okay. I think animal lovers have special joys.

Wow, Im sure your the best Nurse Kirby could have. Hope he has a quick mend. The Nurse role can sometimes be rewording and difficult. Keep up your hard work and Kirby will mend just beautifully. love ya
I have to really feel for animals when they don't even know what is happening just that they feel terrible. Good thing dogs don't dwell on it like we humans do.
I hope he heals quickly! What a lucky dog to have such a great nurse!
I want to come home and help with you! I'll bring a backup supply of chux pads :)
