It Takes Me Time . . .

. . . to be more fully prepared for
Easter.
I want my heart to be so very tender, sensitive and appreciative
for my Savior and
His life,
love,
sacrifice.
For me,
for you.

A most loving teacher showing me by word and deed how to live life.
The greatest among us was the one that served.
A great example reminding me not to be so self-centered.

I cannot ever, ever comprehend his suffering for the sins of all mankind.
What great love and courage.

Knowing that I and all of us created in part
what He endured/suffered makes me so repentant.
Makes me want to live a more Christ-centered life.

The glory that this represents,
the empty tomb,
that death is not the end.

He lives.
He did all this that I too may live after death.
The resurrection is real and I have the potential for glory
with Him and the Father and my loved ones.

Yes, there will be an Easter dinner with family after church. There will be some decorations, flowers and candy for the grands
(though the egg hunt in our family is traditionally on Saturday).

I am working on this egg idea for Sunday.
12 eggs each with a scripture and "token" reminding us of
the true events of Easter. You can even print off the scriptures from the site.

Preparing for Easter is a blessing.
Thanks for reading.
I would love to hear from you what's in your heart this Easter season.
