I'll never forget the day he joined our family and you called me in my hotel to introduce me to my new little brother. I freaked out for a minute until I heard sniffing on the other end of the phone and realized it was a dog.
That little, emaciated, flea and tick infested puppy turned out to be such a huge, regal, handsome, loving, and kind member of our family. My heart already feels empty and I'll miss hearing his barking in the background on the phone. Coming home to visit won't be the same without his smiling face and excited sneezes.
Nooooooooooooooooo! Aunt Sue, I'm so sad and sorry for you! I can't stop thinking about you and wanting to give you the biggest, longest hug! I too wouldn't know what to do with myself. Tears are rolling down my face. Sweet Kirby boy!!! This doesn't help, but he's now with Xander and Sassy and Bailey and all of our other beloved family members! So much love and prayers for strength being sent your way!!! WE LOVE YOU!!
I so agree with Emily, as well as all the other kind thoughts of those that love you and Kirby. I too, had a great love for Kirby, I love the term regal being used, so true. Wish I could be there to love you during this, but I'm doing my best loving you and sending you heartfelt thoughts from here.
I don't think I know a pet more loved by any family...or a family more loved by sooooo many people. Our tears, hearts, and prayers go out to you at this time of great pain. But the great pain is simply a result of such great love shared by both you and Kirby. My heart is breaking for you my sweet coursin. Skippie
