The grands seemed to really enjoy the native village settings. I'm so thankful that our great tour director from our first trip, Jackie imparted so much information to us....it made me look like I knew a little something to the grands when I shared with them.
The line to the butterfly exhibit was waaaaaaay too long so we passed that up. Here I'm telling the grands about the cactus buds that just a tablespoon of have as much calcium as a glass of milk and as much potassium as a banana.
We only spent about an hour and a half at the gardens, compared to four hours in our first visit with just adults, and then headed off to my old neighborhood. We ate lunch at Pete's Fish and Chips. Trevlyn has heard me mention loving that restaurant as a girl and was glad she finally got to share a plate of fish and chips with me. Pete's serves red sauce instead of tarter sauce. As much as I like tarter sauce, this red sauce is good.

Thanks for giving us such a fun adventure! I remember going by your stomping grounds in Scottsdale, so it was fun to see this area, as well! Love ya!
I was hoping for some pics of the old homes! You are such a great Grammy! Hugs
Jody, you and I will photograph them together in a week when you come down.
