Party Time

I finally got to go walking this morning. Kirby is doing as well as can be expected so I took off on the 2 miler. Oh dear, major yard sales in my neighborhood. I'll share my scores at a later date. I had to get ready for a party. You see, the temperature is climbing and now is thee time to have some grands over for eating, swimming, movie watching and bonding before the old grandparents melt outside. This was one of the weekends when all the kids were home so we needed to take advantage of that.

I don't think they noticed this blooming on the front porch steps as they arrived. You would though so this is for you.

Okay for a recuperating dog to rest in the shade. He was so excited to see "the kids" come over. Those kids are really good medicine.

Food disappeared very quickly. So nice to be able to eat outside. Not much longer though. This was the cake. If you want one of my favorite frosting recipes go here.
