BECAUSE CINDY ASKED!

Cindy and I were speaking of plant therapy today. For a lot of us that is so real and helpful. I love the way Cindy gardens, so artistic. I'm looking forward to seeing her and Jody's garden's this summer. She told me of her shopping trip to get flowers and vegetable starts. Then I told her what was growing at my house and that this year I planted a couple packet of wild flowers and can't identify all of them. I'm sure Cindy and Jody could tell me what they are.

Cindy asked me to take pictures for her. . . so here we go. Settle back for a long ride or just click over to another site if you've had your fill of my flowers (I wouldn't blame you). It is the Geiss thumb syndrome again.

Great rebound of the bougainvillea after a couple hard frosts this winter. There is no white on this plant and that is just reflections on a sunny day. About 85 today and climbing in the next couple days. I just need a big picnic table and you here. I'll even grill the burgers.

Remember my attempt at African daisies along the driveway. They have done well and I've just loved them.

This is so funny, my Christmas 2006 poinsettia.

I was thrilled last October (when most of this was planted) to find a 6 pack of lobelia in assorted colors. You get that easily in OR but we're just now getting many color varieties.

This trusty Bell pepper is over 2+ years old and doesn't look pretty but bless it's heart it keeps on producing. Sweet grand O loves to eat these beauties.

Who would have guessed that French lavender would thrive in the desert. The bees are very busy in this area.

Remember the old mud hole....yeah squash from seeds right into the ground. Notice I did get around to putting a layer of grass clippings for mulch.

Won't buy a rose bush no matter how pretty it is unless it smells really good. That's Sofie Jr. behind it.

Well since you've lasted this long you might as well see what besides that green fairy I found at the garage sale today while Kirby and I were out walking in the neighborhood. This sack is full with videos at 75 cents each. I know I am an absolute spas or is that spaz, for listing them but some are just such old favs I have to share with you. . .

Lady Hawk, Back to the Future complete trilogy, Ever After, Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, The Empire Strikes Back, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Jungle Book, Drop Dead Fred, Jurassic Park, The Lost World Jurassic Park, Peter Rabbit the tale of Pigling Bland and The Bible. Now really, that is pretty awesome and at 75 cents each.

And won't this be a good addition to the back yard. Easier for the worlds most adorable grands to roast their marshmallows and make those tasty s'mores. The top and grill come off. Okay, that's all. Really. Oh, you want to know what I paid for this...well she was asking $35 and I paid $25 and am a tiny embarrassed I spent that much but really it's okay.
