OCTOBER FUN

I'm all for pumpkins, bales of straw, rather cute decorations at Halloween so I was surprised at my attraction for this gal. Isn't she great. She'd probably scare young ones but the older kids would think she's cool...okay, cool is my word, what adjective would a bigger kid use? Fill me in here since I'm clueless. You can get detailed instructions to make this at Martha's site if you are interested.

This idea is a lot easier: bake a ginormous batch of cookies, from scratch and use butter. . . that's just a suggestion because my taste buds are speaking now. Next, pile them on several plates and attach one of these Phantom notes to each. Sorry it's so small but I think you have the idea to create your own if desired and customize to your ward/church/neighborhood.
Then do the sneaky-up to the doors, leave this on the door step, ring and run. Last time I did this Linny was still at home and was the runner while I drove like a maniac with car lights off through the neighborhoods. Now there I go getting dramatic. . . again. I honor our neighborhoods and cherish human life and only drive like a maniac from Phoenix to Salt Lake City. . . still somewhat dramatic. I just drive a bit over the limit and very safely. I'll probably break my neck running in the dark when I deliver these but it is for a good cause. I think there is a little bit of kid in each of us and we like goodies and surprises. Hope you're having some October Fun. 3

How I would love to be there watching you deliver you delicious cookies (every time I make a batch Parker is quick to let me know that they are not as good as grammy's) and driving the get away car.

I love your witch! We have our Martha bats up! How did the ring and run go? Did Dad run them up for you?!? Go, Dad, Go!

SLK was at singles ward FHE so this was a solo effort on my part. I did save plenty of cookies for him which were appreciated. You really would have laughed seeing me sneak up to 5 houses, ring and run...one was through a desert landscape and I was being extra careful. I had to call Linny while driving to house 3 and share with her. We were both laughing. I can only blog about this since I delivered to homes that don't know about this blog. Loves to Parker and her sweet memories of my cookies.

I love the witch as well. I don't like the feeling of being chased, so I think the door bell ditch has never been my forte. Maybe I can con the kiddos into doing it?
