MY BLOGGIE THING

Here's a little blog questionnaire I found interesting. I wonder what we'll learn about ourselves . . . . Hmmm.

1. How old is your blog?
Just 2.5 months - can you say novice! Though it's still a very new thing for me I love the brain challenge it is to learn computer/internet skills. Sooooo, I'm not wasting time, just improving the gray matter (in England do they have grey matter) so I won't need to move in with my kids and be taken care of in old age. . . whenever that is. I may have changed their diapers but I don't want them changing mine!!!

2. How would you categorize your blog?
Cornball, memories, recipes, music, keeping in touch with my family that is spread out in MA., PA., UT., OR., CA. and hopefully a little inspirational.

3. Are the photos you post Photoshopped or otherwise altered?
Oh no, I just recently learned how to get a photo on my blog. I'm oh so willing to learn more.

4. Do you lie in your blog?
No, wouldn't do that. But then since I control the content I only choose topics I like so there's no problem.

5. Are you passive-aggressive in your blog?
I might be guilty of that though I did not mean to be. MTN gave me a little heads up warning once that something I said could have appeared critical.

6. Do you ever threaten to quit writing so people will tell you not to stop?
Oh dear, basically I have said that. What a desperate thing. I'm embarrassed!

7. Have you deleted any of your own posts? Why?
Never had to do that.

8. Do you delete mean comments?
You are all too sweet and kind so that hasn't and won't be a problem. My blessing.

9. If your readers knew you in person, would they like you more or like you less?
Only known family and friends know of this little blog so you already know me and have formed your opinions.

10. How many blogs do you follow?
Do I have to answer this!!! I fear you will think ill of me. Let me preface this answer with the number is too large - but to follow an other's blog doesn't mean I read it daily. I can follow about 26 blogs but only a very few do I check in on daily - some a couple times a month. Now I want to hear your answer to that questions. P.S. I just added another...Angela C. has a blog now and it's good! Check it out here .

11. Which blogger do you want to meet in real life?
This will not be a surprise to most of you that I'd probably like to meet Ree from
Confessions of a Pioneer Woman. I check her out a couple times a week - okay, maybe 3 or 4 some weeks - and get great laughs and artery clogging recipes.

12. Does your family read your blog?
Only a few of them do. Funny, because I write it for them.

13. Do you have a hit counter?
Just like the scales in the bathroom...yes and check it daily. Is that obsessive? Who are you in Pleasanton, CA , Cave Creek and Gilbert, AZ that look in on me?

14. Is blogging narcissistic?
Mostly depends on the blogger but could be very easily. One of my daughters will tell me if I stray in that trap hopefully. They tell me how to wear my hair, make-up, that my pillows don't go together on the couch (are you a couch or sofa person, some call it a divan) etc. so it's a natural assumption they'll give me a heads-up.

15. Do you feel guilty when you don't post for a long time?
HECK NO!!! My guilt comes from blogging sooo much! Don't you wonder if SLK is ever getting a meal here folks.

Bonus: Do you try to look hot when you go to the grocery store just in case someone recognizes you from your blog?

This question really made me laugh. I will say I have for the most part been one of those gals that does the hair (okay, big hair) and make-up thing (love lots of make-up) daily (as I sit here with no make-up, flat hair. . . yuck, and same clothes I wore on my walk with Kirby this morning). But I will clean up and I do it for myself, no one at the store or anywhere else.

There is my reveal. What about you?
