I remember as a girl at ARCADIA HIGH SCHOOL (I've still got the school spirit) having our class lectured on ATTITUDE at the beginning of a new school year. I remember the saying "Your attitude will determine your altitude" - or how high and far you will go in life. I didn't mind the little pep talks and always thought my attitude was pretty good...having said that, I realize more fully the importance of attitude in every aspect of our lives. Attitude really does determine so much. M. Russsell Ballard said.
"Remember, a good attitude produces a good result, a fair attitude fair results, a poor attitude poor results. We each shape our own life, and the shape of it is determined largely by our attitude". Ensign, May 1981, 85.
Here is a link to a FHE lesson on attitude should you want to delve into this more with the family. It even has a Deseret Book 20% off coupon and a yummy refreshment recipe at the end that sure looks like an Orange Julius to me...and wasn't refreshments your favorite part of FHE as kids?! You all have great attitudes and I'm so proud of you!! Here's to a great Monday. 3
