Foo Dogs that is.
I saw them at Tar*get and they stole my heart.
I told myself they were a want not a need.
I stood in front of them
FOR SOOOO LONG.
I finally decided I'd splurge and get
just 1 dog.

Here's some more Foo Dogs. Are they growing on you?

Oh my, I really like this Foo Dog lamp. REALLY.
Big Foo Dog, love the fierce expressions.
He could guard my front door.
He could guard my front door.
These dogs are a little too fussy for my taste.
Looks like this dog is perfecting his Westminster Show stance.
I do like blue but these guys look more spooky than fierce.
After bringing my fierce, red dog home I kept thinking about his "brother". . . 3 days later I brought the other dog home. Then I overhauled the bookshelves in the living room and the "Boys" reside there. Pictures in the future.
P.S. Go HERE for a little info on Foo Dogs...thanks Julie for pointing out we don't know much about the history of these critters.

I love that they are red, and that they got to stay together! ;) I don't know much about Foo dogs, are they from China and are they taking over the USA soon? ;) I have a guard dog named Mr. Bo Jangles and every time I open the door to someone, I have to tuck him under my arm so the person at the door doesn't get Foo-d under! :D
I've seen these around but I never knew they were called foo dogs. I like the red one you chose.
Oh I was SO hoping you bought the other dog. :)
I'll be trying my hand Irish soda bread.
