Fresh Produce

...and some I even grew myself. Dori's home and not only is that a delight but a help also. Here's her harvest of my Sweet 100's cherry tomato plant Cindy got me last fall. I thoughtDori was clever to use the giant white petunia for a backdrop.

For any of you planting a garden now I would recommend this very sweet tomato. Mine was planted in October - but this is Arizona!

Dori and I went to a fun farmers market Saturday and brought home more freshness like these carrots along with baby leeks and green onions. Green corn tamales also found their way into our bag and tummies.

I wish this weren't so faded. The artichokes were great and you may remember my love for them.

And perchance you recall the absolutely gorgeous basket of flowering plants Nancy gifted me for hosting her darling baby Jane's shower - oh it was so pretty.
Here it is now 13 months later on my front porch. I've felt fortunate to keep it alive and tickled that it's blooming again. It certainly isn't what it was originally but I'm still so happy over it.
It's waiting to greet all at the door. Welcoming isn't it. Thanks again Nancy.

Sending you wishes for a most pleasant day. Hope my Oregon fam can get a warm and dry break!
