12.10.08

I stayed up last night dismantling 2 large bell wreaths. I decided I wanted large jingle bells for the ward Christmas dinner/program and found them in wreath form. I also found out now days the old trusty pipe cleaner is called a fuzzy stix in the craft departments. I think pipe cleaners make nice handles for the bells and will be so fun for the kids to use to "call" Santa at the end of the dinner and musical program.
The day after the party I'm speaking at the singles ward Relief Society Christmas Enrichment program. Here is a poem and a scripture I will be using since my assigned topic is beauty. Oh, and I just have to tell you I am loving Christmas music and right this moment I'm listening to Il Divo sing "When a Child Is Born"...absolutely awesome!

1 Samuel 16:7 "But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart". Isn't that POWERFUL. I love it.

P.S. Spell Check goes crazy over Biblical words. :)

I especially love the beauty tips. VERY GOOD. I might even print them and post them on my mirror if I have the right time and energy left.

Sadly we will not be at the party! So I won't get to see those beautiful wreaths. Haven't heard from you in forever, hope you are doing well! Maybe Mitchell and I will have to stop by and say hi. Can we? Even w/o an excuse like needing some gelatin?
