Dream vacation continued...
Look at all the fun things we can do . Can you tell I'd deck it out with you in mind and a lot of fun.
After a very active day we can gather around the fireplace, pop corn, play board games and eat homemade ice cream.

My favorite homemade ice cream would be strawberry or peach. We must make it when you get here. Can't wait! Love you. Emily W
I do agree with my sister em. I love strawberry or peach. I guess those our the flavors we grew up on so that is what we crave. Yes I second that we will make it when you come.

My favorite ice-cream flavor is cookie dough. Can you make that at home? Hmm. Find me a recipe and I will try it.
I make ice-cream everytime I borrow my friend Karen's machine. She has a Cuisanart (sp?) that is quiet enough to make it indoors. Only problem is, it doesn't make a whole lot - but it is done in 30 minutes.
I don't really care for ice cream in general but if I had to pick I'd say my favorite is butter pecan.
We are probably making some vanilla for 4th of July. Every year my Abuelita would hand crank the best vanilla ice cream that we would enjoy just before watching fire works from her house. Walk over if you want some!

I am late to the game but I LOVE homemade ice cream. We make many many flavors. My favorites as a kid were chocolate chocolate chip (and as you know my dad I am sure you know it was CHOCOLATY!) and homemade ice cream with our homegrown blackberries(either chocolate or vanilla). Grandpa P homemade peach or apricot was always good on the 4th. Sometimes it had pineapple in it too. Right now my kids like cookies and cream. I like just about any homemade. We are debating right now what kind to make for the fourth!
