Getting Ready

It's not just SLK and me that are looking forward to a family visit this week. The Andy & Son's are coming for their 2nd Annual Father & Son's spring training week-end. Kirby is hoping you boys remember where his treats are so you'll feed him. The N family is also very excited for your arrival. (you just know I had to throw in another photo of this stately creature)

I still need to dust off the mitts. This will be a baseball week-end.

The pool chairs are set up and waiting for some loungers. The pool slide is ready and waiting.

And the pool is way too cold for me. I don't know if you boys will want to brave the water yet but we will see. It was cold last Thanksgiving and you went in the water. Friday and Saturday we are to be in the upper 70's. Now that's nice!! That should make more of you want to come from PA and OR.

Will you help me pick my little lemon crop and juice some lemons? Maybe I'll make some lemon curd. I looooooove lemon curd.

In case someone changes their mind, I cleaned off the jog stroller. . . just in case baby sister P and Mom come with you.

Maybe the zucchini seeds will pop up while you're here. It may look like an ugly mud hole now but if I'm fortunate, I'll have some bushy, productive vegetables here before too long.
