All Are Safely Gathered In

All those sweet, sweet, wonderful fellers arrived safely last night. What a joy. Matt & Son arrived first and SLK and I really enjoyed visiting and getting to know them better. They do the S family proud! Last night when A&Sons arrived at almost 11:30 we went outside and got the first whiff of the seasons citrus blossoms. Now I don't know if I can tell you just how heavenly that fragrance is to me. Marvelous!!! Who would like to be here sniffing the breezes for that scent with me?

This morning after a ww french toast breakfast I left them all to go for my two miler with Kirby. When I got home it was 8:45 a.m. and I heard fun noise coming from the back yard...yup, they were in the pool. No doubt it was very chilly but that little boy exuberance can't be topped. They were shivering and smiling and standing in the sunshine when they needed a break. ASK reported talking to you Boo and hearing it was "dumping snow" back home. Sounds like a snowboarding afternoon maybe??

KMS was reading my blog this morning about getting ready for this gathering and called asking if she missed the chicken enchilada dinner yet. I thought she was inviting herself over and that would be welcomed and fine. But no, she had just put on a large church gathering dinner and had bounteous amounts of Mexican food leftovers to share. Of course that was most welcomed too so dinner tonight will be a snap. Thank you KMS, you are a great friend!

All are off to a spring training game and I'm glad they brought along the sunscreen and baseball caps. It's warm and in the 80's but a nice breeze and that will help.

Family is just thee best and I'm feeling exceedingly blessed and thankful. It could only be topped if more long distance family could make it here for a winter/spring break in the sunshine. 3
