Blooming Where They're Planted

I am a huge advocate of Blooming Where You're Planted. Huge. And look at these adorable photos of my kids and their kidlets making the most of snowy winters this last week-end. I'm just so proud of them. More photos of the PA grands playing in the snow at Christie's blog and I just love looking at all of them repeatedly.

Making snowpeople is serious business I think. P and E are such cuties in PA.
A and H skiing and snowboarding in UT. Would love to have seen Boo ice skating with H.
If you live in these snowy climates you might as well find fun things to do in them.
Now don't get me wrong. You've heard me talk about the HOT summers here and it gets hard on me. But trying to "bloom" during that time I appreciate pool, solar drier, monsoons and adore the A/C!!! Oh yes, I head to Oregon for a cool vacation too!!! I'm such a pansy.
So you great kids, come on down here when the snow gets too much and soak up my sun. It's supposed to be 73* today.
Linny is blooming in South Africa at Imba Safaris with cousin Ben for the next 2 weeks. Today at 2 p.m. there the temperature was 90*. Hope those pale faces took sunscreen along. It is so hard for me to be out of contact with her. Remember she took about 200 photos in 1 hour during our hike to West Fork. I can't guess how many she'll take in Africa but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone of them. Happy day all. I love you loads.

I'm blooming daffodils and primroses for a start to our spring in Oregon. Tulips are on their way up so it won't be long. Grass is green and growing, Where are you Ben when I need you? Hugs Jody
