Mesa Temple

(Have to come back here and note that I did not take these photos but I uploaded them and then shared.)
We had the opportunity to attend the temple Saturday, arriving around 3:30 p.m. and exiting to this. . . a beautiful evening, temple lights to help celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ and the start of a crowd. This is at or close to the top of the list of attractions to see in AZ at Christmas and well deserved. It takes my breath away. Then on Sunday with our commitments in two wards we were gifted to be part of the singles ward Munch and Mingle with the outstanding spiritual message by SLK following the yummy food and backyard fire pits blazing. After a quick trip home to let K-dog out we headed to our bishops house for the home ward's Christmas devotional, great speaker/friend Bob W. with yet more food and visiting. I'm needing some help and motivation to get back on track to healthy eating. Comments, encouragement oh so welcomed. While you're thinking what to tell me enjoy the beautiful photos below.

Christmas in the desert is always as breathtaking as if in the snow. My flavorite pic is of the camels w/ lit palm trees. Wish we could see them in person. Do you think they'll keep up the decorations until baseball preseason in March?
