I Got Caught

I got caught today. I woke up with a headache and didn't even take K-dog on a walk...you know this is serious...and so does he. At a little after 10 a.m. there was a dreaded knock at the door. No make-up, bed head and jammies (but cute ones, thanks LK). I'd been puttin' around doing a little decorating and writing a Christmas card to Elder Means in Mississippi. I quietly peeked out the door viewing thingie which is no easy feat when installed by 6'4" SLK who put it at his veiwing height!!! I exclaimed in a voice loud enough for her to hear "Oh no". It was KMS. Now you know some people you can welcome and even embrace when you are in that "I got caught" state and thankfully KMS is one. It was fun to laugh, share and she is so gracious to allow me my embarrassing delight of "Show-and-Tell". . . that part of kindergarten I loved and never outgrew. After committing self to not buying additional Christmas decorations - I succumbed and bought these little napkins rings at Big Lots. At just $1.25 each they are perfect for my chandelier. KMS just called from Big Lot's. . . she's getting some too. Thought I'd pass the idea on to you.

Nativities are all up in the living room and the snowmen have invaded the kitchen. Mr. and Mrs. Santa that were hand painted by Grandma and other assorted creations are gathering in the family room. I'm going to enjoy these decorations this month, slightly mourn how naked the rooms look in January and then get on with life.

This is my treasured Grammy's tree. The star ornaments each have the name of one of you darling grands on it. How incredibly delightful to add Asher's and Penelope's names on stars this year. Up to 11 stars and feeling very blessed.
Are you tired of Christmas music yet. Good, me neither...not by a long shot. I'm loving you. I'm wishing we were all much, much closer to be sharing this sacred and glorious time of the year. 3

It was more like, "Oh NOOOOO!!!!"

My feelings weren't hurt though. I loved your show and tell and can't wait for my day... Bring Trev.

Your house looks great. Love the little snowman stitchery (sp?) as on sits at my house too.

There should be a snowman stitchery also at A2K, MTN, JW and CL homes. Just to remind you of my love for you and importance of families!
