She Did A Nice.

I don't know that this needs much explanation. She did a nice thing and mentioned me on her blog .Trevlyn saw it and called me long distance while I was in Oregon to tell me. Thanks dear friend Emily. I will interject that most of the time your precious Steve and I omitted the cookie part and we just ate the chocolate chips...straight up!!! But during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays we cracked assorted nuts and ate them too and that's why you received that strange gift from me for you wedding oh so long ago. Though you, Steve and darlings are moving to Provo, I'm thrilled I'll still be able to be involved with you via your blog. Here is one of Emily's blogs that I first read and laughed my silly head off. Hope you check it out.

Here it is Thursday, I have a car and have made it into town - Wilsonville, Oregon all by myself -passed cows, horses & riding stables, llamas, nurseries, hills & dales. I'm cruising down the rows of "stuff" in Target which is very tantalizing since there is NO SALES TAX IN OREGON. It's silly what I actually purchase. Anyway..I get a call from Trevlyn who tells me you mention me on your clever blog. I admit I don't hurry to Jody's house/computer to check it out...still too much shopping with NO SALES TAX to do. But now I'm here, you said such loverly (not a misspell and it should be a recognized word) things and I thank you. We old gals appreciate it even more than you'd imagine...and it brought cjane to my blog and a comment. Well, now, that's nice too! I laugh at it all because I'm such an ordinary, old gal, my writing ability is so limited I've taken to keeping and using a dictionary on my desk for the fear of completely embarrassing myself (or worse, my family) with a grammatical error. Enough. Much thanks sweet gal and I'm glad our blogs (and Jesse/Christie) will forever link me with you and Steve.
