Knitted Beanies

Many of you commented on Christie's blog about the little beanies I made for Parker and Ella. Well, you just need one of these looms - Knifty Knitter by Provo Craft.
You can get them at WalMart or Michaels. Even beginners can teach themselves how to use this loom and it's fun and fast. Many women at church are making these hats for the church humanitarian project. What a wonderful thing to be a part of and help some little child being warmed in a far away country by a hat you made. A hand knitted or crocheted beanie is more refined but this is a good way for beginners to make a quick beanie.

I'm kicking myself for not buying the kit I saw at Goodwill for $3!

Wow! I was just a Walmart and I could not find one. So I asked the lady and she said that she just had sold her last kit. Like the one that you showed. I was sad but oh well I guess. I will have to keep looking I guess.
