Random Oregon Thoughts

1. First night here I was CHILLY and Jody got me a sweatshirt and a pair of her custom made slippers. I felt so cozy. Thanks dear sister.
2. I am once again amazed at the night-time, total stillness living in the country. It is so very quiet and peaceful (until a skunk arrives which usually happens when I'm here).
3. Went on a morning walk with Bode (sorry KIRBY), the W family's standard poodle. I picked & ate roadside fresh blackberries by the Star Wish Farm (the Carl's Jr. restaurant family).
4. Too many dogs came out and barked at us and a Rottweiler came out in the road and the dogs were doing alot of dancing around but I managed to stay on my feet-luckily. Being the timid gal I am I yelled, "please call your dog!!!". I hear a girl calling "Amy" to get home. Now tell me, does the name Amy fit a rottie? I don't think so. And yes, that started my engine again after it had just settled down from the steep climb out of the farm valley.
5. Chatting often with sister Cindy and making plans to meet up at Saturday Market tomorrow, tomorrow I love.....yes, you know that.
6. Will try to post photos of the rodeo later tonight.
7. The new sourdough start looks good at this stage and we may just have a winner!
8. The Rooibos African (herbal) sun tea isn't looking so good. I think the cows tipped it over and the sun is playing a lot of hide and seek behind the clouds. Ben mentioned he drank this in Africa and liked it.

The ones I'm using are only "loaners". I know how coveted Jody Slippers are.

Sometimes I feel like a little spy (because I am not in the family), but I love your blog! Really, I do.

How about a picture of the slippers? Does Jody want to give us a blogging lesson on slippers? Just a thought.

A-You are such a dear to many of this family so always feel welcomed. I really appreciate your comments. I need to get you to a rodeo girl!!!

Slippers are just too much for we novices. She works at a motorcycle leather garment company and has all the professional equipment to do this.
