Portland Saturday Market

You know my obsession with this place (click) and here (click). I have so been looking forward to attending, yes, unlike a store one would go to, I attend Saturday Market as though it were a cultural event. Can you slightly imagine my utter disappointment when I realized I was there and my camera's flash card was not!!! No pictures for remembrances or blogging. What happens to a person once they begin blogging-your camera becomes a part of your body or person. Cindy, Mandy and I had a great time although the incense was sooo strong this year we just about passed out...well not really but we didn't stay long in parts due to the extreme cloud of odoriferous incense...and I even love the song Incense Peppermint (click & rock-out to that tune kiddies). The food court was smelling delicious and we got yummy food. Cindy scored us a great table and we were front row for a musical group that was very close in sound to the Oh Brother Where At Thou (click) tunes. It was a challenge for me to maintain my lady like manners due to wanting to chat so much and chomp away at lunch. I failed my Miss Manners course I fear so here's an apology to Cindy and Mandy. Mandy was kind an took a cell phone picture of Cindy and I so here is our one and only "photo" and I'm only sorry Mandy wasn't in the picture but I just didn't trust handing my phone (or a camera) over to another attender if you know what I mean.

Here are my purchases from the Kathmandu To You store. The blouses were on sale for $5 and the jacket was...also on sale. I'm airing them out from Jody's front porch since the incense has permeated them too-no home owners association to restict my antics. All and all a fabulous time and the only thing to make it better is to have you all there!!! How about next year? Start planning. The elephant ears are on me.

T-wore the blue hippy blouse today but no flowers in my hair.
