At a gathering of the cousins last year the phrase "Geiss thumb" instead of "green thumb" was used. Mom, her sisters and parents were great gardeners and I'm thrilled it has carried on to at least a couple more generations. What would a trip to Oregon be if I couldn't meander in my two dear sisters flowers. Here are photos of Jody's current crop (just the front yard, you should see the flower & vegetable beds in the back and on the side of the house) and I hope to also share Cindy's hoticulture talents that are amazing too. Note the new deck that now extends under the kitchen window.
