I don't know why the genetic creative/decorating genius passed me by and went all to my sisters and cousins but it did. I can only think I was left out so I could applaud them for their accomplishments...and I do so applaud each of them! After showing you a bit of Tonya's home it is only right to let you peek in on her mom's - Skippie's - decorating ability, lovely and inviting home -I'll share some of the lake home later. I bet you've loved her bird houses as I have. I love the use of color(s) and mixing styles in her "people home". Some really have the knack. Skippie and Cindy gave me fantastic decorating advice and help which I loved and so appreciated ( and asked for) when they visited AZ last. I just can't get them down too much to pick their creative brains. I've always enjoyed decorating magazines for the ideas and inspiration they impart. I hope you enjoy these random, ill placed photos as much as I do. I recommend you click on the photos to get an enlarged view. I'm just too lazy to tell you all the fun details of her work in the rooms with removing walls, plastering, painting, sewing window treatments etc. refinishing cabinets & furniture (Garry's gun cabinet is now the red china cupboard) but this gal does it all. Skippie, I bet I could keep you really busy down here in the desert! Thanks for letting me share you.
